All Black Lives Matter Initiative

When you say, “Black lives matter” are you being selective about which?

From its inception, the modern movement for Black lives has been led, organized, and supported by Black queer and trans individuals who not only face racism, homophobia, and transphobia outside of Black spaces, but are also subjected to bigotry within the Black community as well.

Declaring “ALL Black lives matter” brings the most marginalized among us front and center. Black gay, trans, and gender binary non-conforming individuals are more likely to suffer from depression and other mental health issues, homelessness, family rejection, and violence. In the last two years, Black trans women in particular have faced greater reported rates of violence and murder, making it ever-apparent that true liberation will remain a lofty dream until the most vulnerable among us are free.

“Pro-Blackness” that mirrors white supremacy by upholding facets of oppression such as misogyny, homophobia, and transphobia isn’t truly pro-Blackness at all. When the history books tell our story, it is important that those on the front lines aren’t relegated to a mere subscript. Bigotry has no place in the revolution: ALL Black Lives Matter.

Each month, 10-20% of profits from all “Marsha” products will be donated to Black queer and trans organizations and individuals in need. Intended future recipients include The Audre Lorde ProjectThe Jamaica Forum for Lesbians, All-Sexuals, and Gays, The Black Youth Project 100, and many others. In addition to organizations, we are always on the lookout for fundraisers supporting those facing hardship or homelessness, or trying to raise money for hormone replacement therapy, medical procedures, etc. If you have a potential organization or individual recipient in mind, please let us know by contacting
